Barry Graff, Ph.D.

Barry Graff, Ph.D., is an organizational consultant and the founder of Family/Business Systems. He is based in San Diego.

Barry consults with family-owned and closely held businesses on succession planning, organizational and leadership development, and communication and conflict resolution. This includes consultation with the wide range of professional advisors who assist these businesses.

An important focus of his consulting engagements is the integration of management succession, ownership succession, estate planning and family relationship building and communication. Leadership development work has included assessment, training, and coaching of upper and mid-level managers, focusing on individual and team development.

Barry is a frequent speaker at university-based family business forums, as well as regional and national industry groups. Topics include "Succession Planning", "Family Meetings", "Leadership Development", "Team Building", and "Communication and Conflict Resolution". He has also presented seminars on these topics to attorneys, CPAs, financial planners and life underwriters.
