Doug Roberts has 22 years experience in the advanced composites industry.  Doug and his business partner founded Quatro in 1997 to design and manufacture high quality, lightweight carbon fiber parts for various markets which included aerospace, medical, automotive, wind energy and sporting goods. In 2005 they sold Quatro Composites to Tec Industries of Orange City, Iowa and continue to do business under the name Quatro Composites.  Doug maintains a minority ownership, sits on the board, and is the National Account Manager, responsible for new business development. The company’s market focus is now exclusively Commercial Aerospace (Boeing 787), Military Unmanned Aerial Systems (Predator & Scan Eagle UAV), and Medical (radiation therapy, diagnostic imaging, and orthopedic fixation devices). 

Prior to Quatro, Doug served for 10 years as R&D manager for Easton Sports, where he led an engineering team in technology and product development.  He also enjoyed success as a professional tri-athlete competing throughout the continental US as well as New Zealand, Australia, Chile, Mexico and Hawaii.

Today, Doug’s greatest joy is spending time with his beautiful wife Sue and step children Ben, Avery, and Alex. He is actively involved in his church’s Jr High ministry, focusing on providing opportunities for parents and kids to maintain strong bonds through the teen years.  Doug regularly teaches lessons, attends youth camps, leads special events, and counsels young men.  Doug leads a home fellowship called Parent Link where parents & teens regularly meet together to discuss socially relevant issues & character development within a biblical context.  Because of his own life transformation, Doug has made it his purpose & passion to encourage other men to live a powerful & fruitful life marked by godly character & sound decision making.
