Mr. Fabian M. Waldner brings a broad range of experience to Cornerstone Wealth Management where he services clients, analyzes investments, and serves as the Chief Compliance Officer.
A Swiss native, Mr. Waldner served with UBS, the Swiss Bankers Association, and other Swiss institutions in Basel before practicing law in the United States. His legal practice encompassed family law, estate planning, business law, real estate law, bankruptcy, and general litigation.
Mr. Waldner is an inactive member of the Swiss military elite Special Forces known as the Grenadiers. His language fluencies include German, French and Latin.
Mr. Waldner holds a JD (cum laude) and a BA (cum laude) in International Law and Diplomacy from Brigham Young University. He also holds a license as a uniform investment adviser representative (NASD Series 65). Mr. Waldner serves on the board of the BYU Management Society, San Diego Chapter.
In his youth, Mr. Waldner was an Eagle Scout and in college he authored The Switzerland Culture Guide. He has served as a Scout Master and Assistant Scout Master, and directed other youth programs. Mr. Waldner is also an active volunteer in his church. He resides in San Diego with his wife and their two children.
He has volunteered in numerous charitable activities, including fundraising for the American Cancer Society and Cystic Fibrosis, and directing or assisting with various food and clothing drives. Mr. Waldner has also participated in numerous environmental projects to clean riverbeds and forests, and build or restore trails.
