Paul Saber

Paul Saber was born in 1956 in Detroit, Michigan and was educated at Grosse Pointe South High School, Grosse Pointe, MI and Central Michigan University in Mt. Pleasant, MI, where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree.

Paul has been a restaurant owner since 1980. He was an owner/operator of McDonald’s restaurants from 1985-2001, owning 14 McDonald’s in New Mexico, and was Senior Vice President, USA Corporate Division of McDonald’s from 2001- 2003. Paul served on the Board of Ronald McDonald House and Ronald McDonald Children’s Charities, as well as serving as Chairman of the National Leadership Council of all McDonald’s operators, where he restructured the National Operator Advisory Board to become more collaborative, working with the McDonald Corporation Chairman and US President.

In 2003 Paul became President & CEO of Manna Development Group, LLC and currently holds the Area Development Agreement for Panera Bread and Bakery Cafés in San Diego, North Los Angeles, and Orange County, CA and for Panera Cafés in Michigan and Ohio. Paul is committed to operating great restaurants by delivering excellent food and outstanding service.

Paul serves on the UC San Diego Athletic Board, the Board of Directors of Calvary of Albuquerque, Albuquerque, NM; Horizon Christian Fellowship, Rancho Santa Fe, CA; Harvest Christian Fellowship, Riverside, CA; Pepperdine University, Malibu, CA; Samaritan’s Purse (SP), Boone, NC; Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA), Charlotte, NC. He also serves on the BGEA/SP Affiliate Office Boards of Australia, Canada, Germany, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom.

In 1998 Paul served as chairman of the Billy Graham-Franklin Graham Festival in Albuquerque, NM. He began to work closely with both Grahams, joining the Samaritan’s Purse Board in 2003 and serving on the executive committee of the San Diego Billy Graham Crusade the same year. He joined the BGEA Board of Directors in 2006.

Franklin Graham announced the appointment of Paul Saber as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association on February 1, 2007 and Paul served in this capacity through the end of December 2009.

Paul and his wife Dianne reside in Rancho Santa Fe, CA and have two children, Graham, 22, and Hannah, 19.
