Mr. Charles experience includes being President and Owner of a business strategy Consulting firm. As one of the principals, He was instrumental in the turnaround and eventual sale of Casino Data Systems for $180 Million in June of 2001 to Aristocrat.
In 1995 he led his Best Foods Business Unit across Latin America to record sales of $450 Million (+18%) and profits of $60 Million (+33%). He was responsible for the turnaround of retail operations for Best Foods France. During his 5 year tenure Net Income improved from negative – $20 Million to positive + $40 Million.
As a MAP Senior Consultant, he prides himself in the long term relationships he has with his clients and the result improvements that these organizations have experienced. He consults with a wide range of organizations throughout the Southwest.
Mr. Charles is fluent in three languages, English, Spanish and French. He is known as a practical, results-oriented, strategic thinker who is always focused on bottom line results. He is a Graduate of the prestigious Leadership Las Vegas program sponsored by the Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce. He has served as a guest lecturer in International Marketing and Business Strategy in the EMBA program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Mr. Charles is also an affiliate faculty in the MBA program of Regis University, an adult education institution.
He has an Industrial Engineering degree from Universidad Anahuac in Mexico City, and an MBA from the London Graduate School of Business in London, England.
He is a member of the Board of Directors of MAP, a Certified Toastmaster and a member of the Rotary Club. He has served on multiple Boards of Directors.
Mr. Charles’ diverse background spans over 30 years, including experience in international business management with such companies as Procter & Gamble, S.C. Johnson & Son, Inc, Best Foods, and Casino Data Systems. He has lived and worked in six different countries and is the author of C’est la Vie, Everyday lessons for Business and for Life.
